I had been using this app and it was ok, pretty much merely the basics - ability to locate the vehicle, unlock information technology, wait up service locations, etc. After using their competitors app, the 1 from Affalterbach, I Actually want remote start, fifty-fifty if the motorcar shuts down when unlocked. Why VW/Audi can't add basics similar remote get-go, 360 auto-recording nuance cams, and other such things for the premium that they charge on their vehicles and subscriptions; I don't know?? One more than matter that's really annoying me - I ordered a new Audi from a local dealership, and I can't fifty-fifty rails status on the My Audi app. What's up with that?? …tracking a car in manufacturing isn't that challenging in today's historic period of the modern mill and all I really desire to know are the basics - is it beingness manufactured, is it delayed because of the fleck shortage, is it being prepped for commitment to the dock, is it on a boat, did it arrive to the US, etc. I'm not asking to track every part of the manufacturing process. Anyways, hoping Audi realizes that it's 2022, hires some real developers that can work shut with the automotive engineers, and starts improving this app to print people vs just take one for the sake of making their marketing team happy.

While the maps in the auto is beautiful I wouldn't pay for it when it free then on your mobile device. Most chiefly there are no useful features in the myAudi app. I recently parked at the airport for a week long trip. I checked in on my etron and it said that my window was downwards. I worried about my automobile for the whole trip. When I got back the window was up. Contrary to literature there is no trip planning that guides y'all through charge points. You have to utilise the electrify America app to become the charger address and then ready that in the navigation. I feel the materials presented on the Audi website don't accurately explain all of this information. There is besides no customer solution when the services fail as they are now

I did call the 800 number and was told to download some other (nonAudi) navigation app. The well-nigh recent update does non piece of work and while the phone app map now allows y'all to include a charging stop in your plans it does not work when yous send the trip programme to the car.

Useless app that lets yous stranded in your EV

Information technology'south very credible that this app is a „gazillion" miles away from the experience that true EV apps bring to customers. Compare Tesla. Even compare BMW. Both are much, much, much improve in terms of design, usability, customer centricity ... you proper name it. This app only looks like somebody threw random functionality somewhere onto the screen without whatever reason. It'south bad.

What's worse: I depended on this app to recharge my electric vehicle, the eTron. So here I am, about out of charge, trying to initiate a charge at an Electrify America station. You lot press the button ... and a blank screen opens. Nothing. I close the app. I open it again. Same screen. Nothing. And so hither I am, in the heart of nowhere with an empty bombardment and an Audi App that does non allow me initiate a accuse.

I could possibly tolerate an ugly app with random design and useless functions, but what I can't tolerate is an app where the basic functions for EV drivers are failing when you need them.
